ServiceNow Lead/Sr. Requirements Specialist

This position will support our O&M / Sustainment agile development program by overseeing the agile requirements development and management including defining customers’ mission and problem needs. The candidate for this position is responsible for leading the requirements gathering process and ensuring that solutions are aligned with customers’ mission needs and the ServiceNow platform.

Clearance:Must be U.S. Citizen to be eligible for DoD Secret security clearance.

Core Work Hours: 7am - 4pm (EST) Monday – Friday, except Government Holidays

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate, coordinate, and engage with customer mission and product owners to identify, define, and create respective use cases to generate the requirements and acceptance criteria needed for the user stories.  Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, document them, and translate them into technical solutions
  • Demonstrate ServiceNow configuration knowledge (e.g. user / group, catalog items, workflow, etc)  on various technical meetings with the customers and program team to derive identification and define clear use cases leading to development of requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Support and provide technical guidance to the junior level Business Analysts on user story development and management.
  • Develop and update the Software Requirements Document with detailed technical and functional specifications for each user story requirements.
  • Assist with scope definition and level of effort estimation working with Solutions Architect and SCRUM Master.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of ServiceNow platform and configuration knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, team work, and customer engagement experience.
  • Requirements development and management in an Agile Environment including sprint planning, management, and backlog grooming
  • 5+ years of experience working as Requirements Specialist supporting an Agile Development Program - ServiceNow agile development domain is highly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow configurations, Best Practices, and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features.

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • ServiceNow CSA
  • Security+ certification highly desired
