Are you a hungry and experienced Prague-based Microsoft system administrator/customer support engineer that’s eager to learn new technologies through working with a US-based cybersecurity SaaS startup? Preava is looking for a high-performing IT admin like you who is eager to join our high-velocity agile (mostly remote) team!
What You Will Be Doing
As someone passionate about security, privacy, and automation, you will play a critical role in administering our internal IT systems, identifying best practices, and providing support to our customers.
As an IT admin, you will be responsible for administering Preava’s Microsoft and Google tenants used for internal operations and product development, using DevOps and DevSecOps, where possible.
As an IT admin, you will develop and document best practices for security and privacy in the Microsoft (Google) ecosystem(s).
As an IT admin, you will learn to manage Preava’s globally distributed infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and Ansible.
As a customer support engineer, you will test Preava’s software products and frequently communicate with the engineering, revenue, and management teams.
As a customer support engineer, you will assist Preava’s customers with deploying our outbound email security product, and providing tier 1 and tier 2 customer support.
Your Responsibilities
At Preava there is no room for inefficiency; you will work with highly organized and technical people. As the sole dedicated member in our IT admin team, you will:
Own user application provisioning, including through SAML, SCIM and Intune, which you will implement at Preava;
Deploy and administrator a range of Microsoft environments that mimic our customers’ environments for product development and testing purposes (cloud/on-prem/hybrid, etc.);
Develop and train yourself on, and document best practices within the Microsoft ecosystem; and
Onboard Preava’s customers, and provide tier 1 and tier 2 customer support via email and calls.

Compensation and Benefits
- $3,000 to $5,000 USD per month, negotiable based on experience
- 23 paid days off for all full-timers

Requirements
- Computer science, IT, or other technical degree
- 5+ years experience administering Microsoft (Office) 365 for 300+ user organizations
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Relevant Microsoft email, identity, security, and/or compliance certifications
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and implement new technologies
- Ability to work remotely most of time, with occasional in-person meeting in Prague
