About the opportunity
As a Writer-Editor, you’ll be responsible for generating original, engaging articles, reviewing and editing articles from both staff writers and freelancers, and refining AI-generated drafts. In doing it, you’ll apply your skills to ensure our content aligns with Eneba’s tone, style, and SEO requirements. As part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you’ll play a key role in scaling content production by combining creativity with tech-driven efficiency.
From polishing drafts and aligning them with SEO strategy to optimizing workflows and contributing to content guidelines, your input will directly shape how gamers worldwide experience content on the Eneba hub. Responsibilities
- Create original content(commercial & affiliate articles): Generate high-quality, creative, and engaging text content in English using AI-powered writing tools. Masterfully edit draft texts delivered by AI to ensure content flows naturally and passes AI content detectors.
- Edit new content: Review article drafts (created by staff writers and freelancers), identifying and correcting stylistic, factual, and grammatical errors. Ensure content aligns with the tone and style of the Eneba hub and fully covers SEO briefs.
- Improve content clarity and engagement: Monitor competitors and industry trends to define areas of improvement; initiate, pitch, and drive improvement implementations to level up existing content guidelines. Stay on top of the latest developments in AI writing technology and contribute insights to the team to optimize existing writing practices.
- Collaborate across a cross-functional team to scale up production volume: Work in tandem with SEO, Content, and other marketing teams to grow production output by introducing AI-powered automations to day-to-day operations.
Requirements - what you need to succeed
- Strong writing skills: Ability to create engaging and original content. Experience in humanizing AI-generated texts through editing. A rich portfolio of texts that are free from both basic and advanced linguistic errors, well-structured, and deliver the message clearly.
- Research proficiency: Ability to conduct thorough research on industry trends, topics, and keywords to inform content creation and optimization.
- Experience working with AI tools: Proficiency in natural language processing, strong understanding of AI algorithms, and experience crafting effective content making prompts.
- SEO knowledge: Ability to optimize written content for SEO and other digital performance metrics to drive organic traffic and audience engagement. Knowledge of SEO best practices for AI-generated content.
- Meticulous attention to detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a keen eye for identifying and rectifying content errors and inconsistencies.
- Adaptability: Ability to maintain a consistent workflow and manage scope growth through optimization and automation; effectively prioritize and manage tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, both independently and within a team framework.
- Video game knowledge: Keen interest in video games (genres, formats and big names).
- Process-oriented approach: A methodical mindset geared towards systematic and step-by-step execution of assigned tasks.
€2,200 - €27,600 a year
*Salary ranges may vary. We’re seeking candidates with varied experience levels; from individual contributors to functional leaders in this space.
*We’re an international team and our business language of choice is English. Good English level is required, proficiency is preferred.
