TPAPT is an association of local independent tutoring and test prep companies and one of our awesome chapters is hiring! We’re seeking two to three PA-CAT test prep tutors to help students pursue their Physician’s Assistant program.
We are looking for tutors who can provide online one-on-one tutoring sessions to pre-PA students taking the PA-CAT, a new test for PA school admissions that covers different topics in biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, statistics, and behavioral science.
The ideal candidate will have experience tutoring the PA-CAT but candidates with MCAT tutoring experience are also encouraged to apply. The individual should be able to provide both subject matter tutoring as well as help with practice problems.
An earned Bachelor’s degree from a US based 4 year degree granting college our university
2 years of experience tutoring or teaching
High standards of professionalism and lesson preparation
Familiarity with either the PA-CAT (preferred) or MCAT exams
Familiarity with the PA School admissions process
Expertise with web-based tutoring, screen sharing, document sharing etc.
3-6 hours per week of availability
Remote position with flexible schedule
$40-$45/hr
Additional allied health tutoring assignments
No marketing required
