Job Description
Your contribution to something big:
- Shape and drive Supplier and Material Group Strategies at Bosch Thermotechnology level;
- Lead price negotiations with suppliers and conclude legally binding contracts;
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supplier risks with a long‑term, sustainable approach;
- Drive supplier performance improvements in cost, logistics, production, quality, and sustainability;
- Execute commercial purchasing activities, including market benchmarking, quotation comparison based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and supplier selection following Bosch’s standard decision processes;
- Actively identify, implement, and review measures that influence direct material cost development;
- Prepare and deliver key information for Business Plan execution, including quantity forecasts and cost‑saving estimations.
Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing, ideally as a buyer in an industrial environment.
Know‑how
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract management;
- Understanding of TCO principles and supplier evaluation processes;
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and supplier development.
Languages
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
Working Style and Methods
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities;
- Results‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently;
- Comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders;
- Willingness to travel as required.
Personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Initiative‑driven, structured, and committed to continuous improvement.
