About Supercritical
We are a marketplace where corporate buyers can buy and manage carbon removal credits to meet their net zero goals. Our platform lets you buy spot credits, secure multi-year agreements, and get aggregated pricing and supply. We provide transparent pricing, thoroughly vet projects, and make transactions smooth.
One-third of corporate buyers use us to build portfolios of vetted credits and complete transactions securely. We offer a live view of availability and pricing for five million tonnes of carbon removals. Each project is vetted through a science-driven process covering 118 criteria to ensure quality.
We simplify transactions with a single Supercritical contract designed to reduce carbon dioxide removal (CDR) specific risks. The platform also allows users to manage their credit purchases, deliveries, and retirements.
We support various carbon removal methods, including Biochar, Bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS), Enhanced rock weathering (ERW), Direct air capture (DAC), Seawater electrolysis, Woody biomass submersion, and Bio-oil and biochar production.
Our customers include organizations like The Economist Group, Virgin Atlantic, and Rothschild & Co.
