Job Description

For a big international FinTech project we’re looking for an Automation QA Engineer.

You’ll join a team working for one of the world’s biggest investment banks. Your goal will be to join the team and build effective test automation strategies and practices to set up highly performant and predictable pipelines and improve overall quality of technology stack.

  • design and implement a multi-layer test automation strategy for core trading solution,
  • develop and maintain effective testing frameworks,
  • share best practices and approaches with your project team,
  • contribute together with diverse team of business and dev leads

Qualifications

Must-have skills:

  • have a proactive attitude to problem-solving and hungry for change
  • have great communication skills
  • can demonstrate hands-on knowledge of modern testing methodologies, concepts, and practices
  • have enough object-oriented programming experience with 1+ years of experience in a similar role:
    • QA automation engineer
    • Software Engineer
    • Test Analyst
  • have experience in OOP, code build and packaging tools (Maven, Gradle), Spring, JUnit/TestNG, API testing tools, and at least one CI system (Teamcity, Jenkins, etc).
  • have a proven track of contributing to test automation solutions, independently or within a team
  • have experience with Agile practices and ceremonies

Nice-to-have skills:

  • hands-on experience in test refactoring and performance optimization
  • finTech testing or a trading background – Devexperts does FinTech, and your experience will be valued
