Job Description

EcoVadis seeks a high energy and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our new highly successful Sales Team in Barcelona.

SDRs are responsible for prospecting and outreaching activities on target accounts with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers. This role has the opportunity to be the first touch point for the largest firms in the Iberian region (Spain & Portugal) to evangelize the importance of Sustainability and ESG in global supply chains.

Responsibilities

  • Frontline employees engage and support all companies to leverage EcoVadis solutions in order to foster continuous improvement of sustainable business practices in global supply chains.
  • SDAs are responsible for prospecting and outreaching activities on target accounts with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers. This role has the opportunity to be the first touch point for the largest firms in Spain to evangelize the importance of Sustainability and ESG in global supply chains.
  • Generating new business opportunities to fuel revenue for EcoVadis
  • Conducting high-level discovery and educational conversations with Senior Executives (Directors of Sustainability or Procurement) in Target Accounts
  • Scheduling qualified meetings for Account Executives
  • Evangelizing the importance of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility for the supply chain of Global 500 companies
  • Leveraging your teammates (Marketing and Account Executives) to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging in order to drive opportunities in regional areas
  • Maintaining an activity (emails, calls, LinkedIn) volume with the intent to qualify leads and create pipeline growth
  • Meeting or exceeding your target
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and competition
  • Quarterly business plan creation, reporting, and presentation to all key stakeholders
  • Recording and documenting all calls and communications in Salesforce in order to identify trends for improvement
  • Monitoring social networks such as Linkedin for sales opportunities and leads,
  • Reporting on weekly results, both qualitative and quantitative.

This person would have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously.

  • University degree in Business or Sustainability related areas,
  • Experience working in Sustainability, CSR or B2B Procurement would be a plus
  • Full proficiency in Italian is a must to be eligible for this role as per the territory. Portuguese is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Spanish corporate business culture,
  • Passionate about Sustainability and willingness to pursue a career in both Sustainability and Sales,
  • Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting
  • Strong time management & organizational skills,
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to build rapport,
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks,
  • Ability to work well in an international team environment in a fast growing business.
