PRT Operations Associate

Job Summary

The PRT Operations Associate, will assist with the management and enhancement of our relationships with potential and existing PRT clients, ensuring their ongoing operational support and satisfaction.

The PRT Operations Associate will report to the Director, PRT Client Management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for PRT clients and our Third-Party Administrator throughout transaction integrations, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Participate in updating and evolving the Integration Project Plan for each client.
  • Participate in regular client meetings to review project progress, address concerns, and adapt plans as needed based on client feedback.
  • Coordinate and execute transition activities from kick-off meeting through certificate delivery, including premium reconciliation and true-up, annuity exhibit preparation, GAC execution, and other critical deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with Pricing, Valuation, and Treasury to ensure transactions are managed effectively.
  • Document procedures within the team.
  • Assist in the management of ongoing administrative issues related to covered annuitants.
  • Assist in the preparation of information required for state exams, various audits, and the like.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across F&G and with new and existing clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to others in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with excellent organization and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in an environment of constant change.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver required results.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience in financial services. A focus on client management with pension and/or pension risk transfer is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Other Requirements

  • Perform other functions, duties and projects as assigned.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Minimal travel required (less than 10%).
