Senior Backend Engineer (Ruby)

- Development and maintenance of Ruby on Rails applications and services.
- Design and implementation of backend components supporting large-scale digital platforms.
- Deployment and management of services in cloud environments (Heroku, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Optimization of database operations using PostgreSQL.
- Contributions to AI and event-driven architecture integrations (where relevant).
- API development and scaling
- Microservices architecture and optimization
- PostgreSQL database management and performance tuning
- Cloud deployment (Heroku, AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Containerized deployments (Docker)
- System monitoring, debugging, and high-availability design
your profile ๐
- Proven hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails in production environments.
- Expertise in building scalable web APIs and working with microservices architectures.
- Strong proficiency in SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of modern backend design patterns, with emphasis on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments (Heroku, AWS, GCP, or Azure) and with containerized deployments (Docker).
- Strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and capacity to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Practical experience with Elasticsearch.
- Exposure to additional languages such as Go (Golang) or Python.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks and experience integrating with AI services or agent-based systems.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
