Job Description
We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Canberra team and seeking strong candidates from Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist Backgrounds!

As a Rehabilitation Consultant here, you’ll be surrounded by colleagues who lift each other up, and you’ll be equipped with tailored training, tools, and mentorship to help you thrive both professionally and personally.
In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals with the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Your duties will include:
- Mentor, coach and supervise consultants to support their achievement of service delivery, customer service
- Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks);
- Work with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs and apply your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
- Partner collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals & work across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran’s Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
- Assist those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes & complete a variety of assessments using your clinical skills, including but not limited to initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents.
Qualifications
You’ll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!
- Tertiary Qualifications in Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist
- Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or Full ESSA accreditation as an EP
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry
- Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!;
- Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy;
- It’s the kind of career where well developed time management skills are a must & plus!;
- A current valid Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
