Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL and Snowflake, hands-on experience with modern data tooling, and a passion for automation, analytics, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries and data models in Snowflake
  • Build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines using best practices in data warehousing
  • Develop Python scripts for automation, data processing, and API integrations
  • Work with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, and CloudFormation to support data workflows
  • Implement and manage data transformations using dbt, including testing and documentation
  • Design and maintain data warehouse schemas (star, snowflake, and other dimensional models)
  • Integrate and consume REST APIs, handling CRUD operations efficiently and securely
  • Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions
  • Use Git for version control and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for data and code deployments
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Advanced SQL, with extensive Snowflake experience
  • Solid experience with Python for scripting, automation, and API integrations
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (Glue, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, or similar services)
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including modeling, schema design, and ETL/ELT
  • Practical experience using dbt in production environments
  • Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD practices
  • Understanding of REST APIs and CRUD operations
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Qualifications

Must have Skills: Snowflake, ETL Concepts (Strong), DBT
