As a People Business Partner supporting our Sales and Marketing organizations, you’ll be embedded with our high-performing go-to-market teams—including Field Sales, RevOps, Sales Enablement, Solutions Engineering, as well as Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Brand & Visual, Marketing Communications, and Sales Development. In this role, you’ll provide strategic partnership and hands-on support to help drive performance, develop talent, and build a scalable, inclusive culture that enables rapid growth.
This is more than HR—it’s about becoming a trusted advisor to sales and marketing leaders. You’ll provide expert guidance on people strategy, performance, coaching, talent development, and organizational design while helping to scale a collaborative, inclusive, and agile culture. You’ll also bring a proactive mindset for innovation—leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline and enhance the employee experience and People processes across fast-moving, metric-driven teams.
How you’ll add value:
- Partner with GTM leadership to align talent strategies with business objectives across Sales and Marketing teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers—supporting org design, workforce planning, talent development, and engagement.
- Guide leaders in building and scaling high-performing sales and marketing teams in a culture of accountability and growth with a focus on role clarity, high-impact performance management, career pathing for revenue-focused teams.
- Lead and support key programs in talent reviews, succession planning, promotion planning, org design, internal mobility, and workforce planning within the Sales and Marketing organizations.
- Navigate complex people issues including performance management, employee relations, org transitions, role realignments, territory changes, and career conversations.
- Collaborate with Marketing Ops and RevOps to analyze people data related to performance, productivity, and engagement—translating insights into action.
- Advise on compensation frameworks, sales incentive plans, promotions, and internal mobility with a strong understanding of SaaS sales structures.
- Build leadership capability within GTM functions through targeted coaching, training, and enablement, especially during times of change or growth.
- Partner with Learning & Experienced and Enablement teams to support onboarding, skills development, and leadership readiness in both Sales and Marketing.
- Utilize and promote AI and automation in HR workflows—such as onboarding, feedback cycles, recognition programs, data tracking, and communications.
- Work with Total Rewards to ensure equity and consistency in compensation, promotions, leveling, and internal moves across creative, analytical, and sales-focused teams.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, agility, and accountability across a diverse GTM workforce, adapting people programs to match team needs and culture.
- Use data to spot trends in attrition, performance, ramp time, and engagement—and work with Sales Ops/RevOps to action insights.
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement to embed leadership development and learning programs into the flow of work for sales teams.
- Partner cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, L&D, and Total Rewards to deliver seamless people solutions.
What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- 8+ years in a strategic HR Business Partner or People Partner role, preferably supporting Sales or GTM teams in SaaS.
- Proven experience supporting both Sales (including field sales, enablement, pre-sales/solutions engineering, RevOps) and Marketing functions (brand, demand generation, marcom, marketing ops, product marketing, sales development).
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field—or combination of education and applicable and practical work experience.
- Deep understanding of HR fundamentals: talent management, employee relations, compensation, performance, DEI, and compliance.
- Excellent coaching and conflict resolution skills; you build trust and credibility quickly with high-performing, fast-paced teams.
- A passion for data-informed decision-making; experience using analytics to support performance and engagement goals.
- Familiarity with AI/automation tools in HR—such as automated onboarding, LMS, analytics dashboards, or workflow tools like Notion or Asana.
- Skilled communicator with experience influencing across matrixed teams, including executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and rapid change while delivering consistent, scalable support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, and basic reporting tools.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
R365 Team Member Benefits & Compensation
- This position has a salary range of $100,000 - $155,000. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
