About the Role
The Policy team is building Riskified’s Policy Protect app, a web application platform that merchants can configure and monitor their business policies in different use-cases such as refunds, returns, and more. Our work involves a robust analysis flow and models that evaluate claims in both offline and online environments to determine their legitimacy and prevent fraud.
Our Stack: Node.js, Kafka, Elastic, Aerospike, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and develop a highly reliable, available, and scalable architecture for our core services in a new promising product
- Deploy your code to production daily (we have advanced CI/CD pipelines)
- Be a strong owner of production systems, keeping them running smoothly
- Active part in planning the team roadmap and products
- Collaborate with other engineering teams and product managers teams to work on cross-department projects
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or military equivalent certifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in hands-on server-side coding
- Passion for writing clean, high-quality code
- Great attitude - an independent self-learner and a strong team player
- Hands-on experience in Node.js
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- Experience with Grafana/Prometheus
- Experience with Aerospike - advantage
- Experience with Elastic - advantage
- Experience using AI tools to improve workflows and productivity - advantage
