Who We’re Looking For
A Senior Backend Developer who thrives on solving complex performance and scalability problems in Node.js and Python environments. You’ll join a small, fast-moving team building the backbone of our proxy and data infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with other developers - focusing on coding, optimization, reliability, and end-to-end ownership - including deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure setup.

What You’ll Do
Build & Scale High-Impact Systems with a Modern, Low-Level Approach
- Optimize high-traffic Node.js services for vertical and horizontal scaling (thousands of RPS).
- Deep dive into performance bottlenecks and squeeze every millisecond out of the stack.
- Work directly with self-managed infrastructure handling terabytes of data - no “click-to-scale” cloud abstractions here. You’ll be involved in deploying, scaling, and monitoring the services you build, using a DevOps mindset
Embrace AI-Assisted Development to Revolutionize Workflow
- Use tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and other AI coding helpers to boost quality and speed.
- Experiment with emerging AI solutions and share learnings across the team.
- Continuously refine processes so we ship smarter, not just harder.
Own Critical Problems End-to-End in a Fast-Paced SaaS Environment
- Take full ownership of complex technical challenges - from design to production fix.
- Diagnose and resolve critical system or customer-facing issues with autonomy and urgency.
- Thrive in a dynamic startup setting where results matter more than process for process’s sake.
What Does the Ideal Candidate Have for the Role?
- Minimum 4+ years of experience with Node.js in backend development (+ some Python experience). Proven track record of working with high-traffic platforms and scalable systems.
- Comfortable or open to operating outside managed cloud - bare-metal, self-hosted, or hybrid setups.
- Experience working in a fast-moving startup environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and adaptability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Linux environments, and basic system administration.
- Open to adopting AI-assisted coding tools and modern development practices.
- English - communicative level (B2)
