Job Description

As an M365 Consultant at Version 1, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of IT services to our client. The successful candidate support business critical applications for our customer, manage relationships with key stakeholders and ensure that service level agreements (SLAs), service commitments and project deliverables are met.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Configuration, maintenance and support of SharePoint Online
  • Administration of Microsoft Teams, including governance, lifecycle management, and user adoption strategies.
  • Ticket and queue management: Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs using ITSM tools.
  • Service improvement initiatives: Identify recurring issues, propose enhancements, and implement automation or process improvements to elevate support quality.
  • M365 support: Provide expert-level support across the Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Documentation and knowledge base creation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, SOPs, and user guides.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support migrations, upgrades, and new feature rollouts.
  • Monitoring and reporting: Use analytics and reporting tools to track system health, usage trends, and support metrics.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an applications management, support, or development role.
  • Support knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business and Power Platform
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Fresh service) and ITIL-based support processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage support queues, prioritize tasks, and meet SLAs.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation of administrative tasks an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience with service improvement frameworks (e.g., CSI, Lean IT) is a plus.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-700, MS-900, MS-102, or equivalent) are desirable.
