Role Overview
Nurse Practitioners in Vitable’s provider network use their clinical expertise and autonomy to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. This per diem role is designed for NPs who are seeking flexible, part-time work—perfect for those who want to practice on their days off while earning supplemental income.
- This is an ongoing opening — we review candidates on a rolling basis as our needs evolve. We hire for this role continuously as part of our expanding clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and implement patient-specific interventions.
- Review diagnostic reports, consults, and discharge summaries.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families.
- Write medical orders and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Accurately document clinical encounters in Vitable’s EMR system.
Candidate Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in at minimum 10 states
- Doctorate or Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program.
- Board Certification in Family Practice (ANCC, AANP, ONCC, or NBCHPN).
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Commitment to high quality care
- Experience with continuous care patients
