Athletes Unlimited is hiring an Account Executive, Group & Season Ticket Sales to be an ambassador and sales person for AU and drive ticket sales while building relationships within the local and wider community. The Account Executive, Group & Season Ticket Sales will report to the Director, Group & Season Ticket Sales.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue strategic opportunities for capturing volume ticket sales from targeted constituencies
Coordinate and execute sales calls on potential customers through provided leads, prospecting, cold calling, and referrals from current customers
Offer a full menu of seating opportunities for all ticket packages, including seasons, single-game, and group tickets
Develop and maintain professional relationships with a wide variety of local, national, and international groups, including athletic clubs, schools, colleges, sports leagues, businesses, restaurants, etc
Effectively use Hub Spot to keep detailed records and seating charts for all groups including outreach tracking
Effectively use ticketing platform to describe and select available seat locations for patrons, and transact point of sale in system
Serve as point-of-contact for existing customers
Coordinate with internal and/or external constituencies to obtain price estimates & book reservations
Coordinate and/or process all phases of group sales, including booking orders and securing deposits and payments for season and group ticket sales
Collaborate with Marketing and Grassroots teams to support group sales and outreach initiatives, promote events, and ensure an exceptional fan experience
Assist with any special projects assigned by the Director, Group & Season Ticket Sales
1-3 years of experience in outbound and inbound sales, with a preference for prior ticket sales experience
Proven ability to build relationships and interact and communicate with customers in a face-to-face environment
Ability to handle heavy volume of outbound and inbound phone calls and emails
Knowledge of Hub Spot or Salesforce a plus
Strong customer service communication skills
Collaborative and flexible working style with the ability to work both autonomously (remote) and within a team environment (onsite)
Strong organizational and follow-through skills, with an ability to prioritize and multitask
Basic knowledge of Google Suite products
Willingness to travel to league locations, approximately 2-3 weeks each season
Flexible hours while onsite as game days occur on weekends and evenings
Legal authorization to work in the United States
This role is full-time, remote and is compensated at a range of $45,000- $50,000 annually. While this is the intended range, the actual compensation may vary based on several factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, and geographic location of the position. We anticipate the highest end of the range will be reserved for those who exceed the hiring committee’s expectations on all measures of the evaluation process.
