Job Summary: We seek a skilled and reliable individual to take on dual roles in Accounting and General Affairs in Japan and globally. The ideal candidate will have experience in securities accounting or general accounting, as well as office management. This role involves hands-on work with the Japanese securities business, while also contributing to a fast-growing and dynamic global organization. Responsibilities will include a range of financial tasks, such as capital adequacy ratio calculations, monthly accounting tasks, internal and external reporting, along with general office management and employee welfare support.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accountant:

  • Securities Accounting (or General Accounting): Handle securities-related accounting tasks or general accounting responsibilities.
  • Capital Adequacy Ratio: Calculate and verify the capital adequacy ratio.
  • Monthly Accounting: Perform monthly accounting processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Cash Management: Oversee cash management processes, ensuring liquidity and financial stability.
  • General Payment Operations: Manage payment processes, including handling invoices, employee advances, and other related tasks.
  • Internal Financial Reporting: Generate various internal financial reports as required by the organization, working closely with the global finance team to ensure alignment and accuracy.
  • External Reports: Prepare and submit reports for external use, including coordinating with related departments to gather necessary information.

As General Affairs Coordinator:

  • Mail Management: Handle the receipt and dispatch of all incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee the management of PCs, monitors, and other office equipment.
  • Office Access Control: Manage access to the office by controlling IDs at the office entrance.
  • Employee Welfare Management: Assist in managing employee welfare programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in accounting, ideally with a focus on securities accounting or general accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of capital adequacy ratio calculations and financial regulations.
  • Ability to prepare and manage financial reports.
  • Familiarity with payment operations, including invoicing and employee reimbursements.
  • Experience in general affairs or office management, including handling mail and equipment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members in Japan and globally.
  • Solid numerical and logical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English.

Languages:

  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English.

Working Environment:

  • Full-time position
  • Working hours: Standard working hours apply, but occasional early morning or evening availability may be required for meetings with team members in the US and other regions.
  • Location: Tokyo, Japan. Alpaca is a fully remote company, but in-office attendance 1–2 times per week is required for this role based on business needs.

主な業務内容:

経理業務:

  • 証券経理(または一般経理): 証券に関する経理業務または一般経理業務
  • 自己資本規制比率: 自己資本規制比率の算出と検証
  • 月次会計処理: 月次での会計処理を実施し、全取引の正確な記録を担保
  • 資金管理: 資金管理を行い、企業の流動性と財務健全性を維持
  • 支払い業務全般: 請求書処理、従業員立替金の精算など支払いに関連する業務
  • 社内向け財務レポート作成: グローバルのファイナンスチームと緊密に連携しながら、必要に応じて社内向けの各種財務レポートを作成。
  • 対外報告書作成・報告: 関係部署と連携し、外部向けの報告書を作成・提出。

総務業務:

  • 郵便物管理: すべての郵便物の受け取り・発送を管理
  • 機器管理: PC、モニターなどのオフィス機器の管理
  • オフィス入退室管理: オフィスへの入退室とセキュリティの管理
  • 福利厚生管理: 従業員の福利厚生プログラムの運営をサポート

応募資格:

  • 経理業務の実務経験があり、特に証券経理または一般経理に関する知識がある方。
  • 自己資本規制比率の算出や財務規制に関する理解がある方。
  • 財務報告書作成の経験がある方。
  • 支払い業務や請求書処理、従業員立替金の管理に関する経験がある方。
  • 総務業務やオフィス管理の経験がある方(郵便物管理、機器管理、福利厚生管理等)。
  • 日本およびグローバルのチームメンバーと円滑に連携できる優れた組織能力とコミュニケーション能力を有する方。
  • 数字に強く、論理的に思考しながら業務を遂行できる方。
  • Microsoft Office等のソフトウェアに精通している方。
  • 日本語および英語の両言語で業務遂行が可能な方。

勤務条件:

  • 正社員
  • 勤務時間:定時勤務だが、米国など海外チームとの会議のため、早朝または夜間の勤務が発生する場合あり。
  • 勤務地:基本的にはリモート勤務だが、業務に応じて週1−2回程度、東京のオフィスに出社が必要。
