Job Description
Responsible for managing relationships with all field subcontractors and serving as the organization’s point of contact. Researches, analyzes and evaluates field subcontractor performance and recommends new field subcontractors. Provides support to the organization for problems with subcontractor performance and/or service issues.
Associate is responsible for monitoring and providing guidance to the associates of the Subcontractor Admin team. Assisting and providing direction on priorities, service escalations, and process development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage external vendor relations within Operations Department.
- Perform as the functional bridge amongst external subcontractors as well as internal/external employees.
- Coordinate with all vendor management tasks inclusive of working with external subcontractors and internal employees.
- Help and coordinate vendor processes and methods to approve new and established subcontractors.
- Identify improvement areas as well as perform closely with all internal/external employees to prepare solutions to improve subcontractor performance and tech inventory accuracy.
- Identify and implement continuously enhanced process efficiencies associated with vendor management.
- Participate in formulating workflow processes, methods, scorecards and policies for onboarding/maintaining subcontractors.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure vendor partner performance.
- Monitor contractual agreements for all subcontractors.
- Initiate creation of Subcontractor Scorecards, holding subcontractors accountable to our SLAβs and adherence.
- Support initiatives to enter new markets or regions.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements:
- Basic computer skills, required
- Work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching. Ability to see through the data and analyse it to find conclusions.
- Present findings or translate the data into an understandable document.
- Ability to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills: Must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure vigilance in analysis that will bring you to correct conclusions.
- Math Skills: Utilize math skills to estimate numerical data.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, & SharePoint
Education and Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree, preferred
- 2-3 years of analytical experience, preferred
- 2-3 years of vendor management experience, preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and stay focused for long periods of time
- Vision correctable to 20⁄20
- Finger dexterity for keyboarding and computer usage
