The AdOps Strategy & Global Enablement Director is a senior-level individual contributor role reporting directly to the Global VP of Ad Operations. This strategic operator is responsible for aligning AdOps execution across North America and EMEA, leading global process evolution, unifying performance reporting, and ensuring financial accountability for delivery spend. This individual serves as a critical extension of AdOps leadership, partnering with internal stakeholders, external clients, and cross-functional teams to support scalable operations, improve team systems, and uphold best-in-class client delivery standards.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a highly cross-functional environment, is experienced in Ad Operations or AdTech ecosystems, and can combine technical fluency with strategic insight to drive global impact without direct reports.

Note: This position offers the opportunity for remote work or ‘work from home’ as there isn’t a nearby office. What You’ll Achieve

  • Strategic Program Execution & Process Leadership
    • Lead cross-regional AdOps initiatives (e.g., programmatic evolution, campaign workflow automation, stakeholder engagement models)
    • Own global rollout and alignment of SOPs, training materials, and tooling adoption frameworks
    • Partner with Sales, Product, and Client orgs to scale operational maturity and efficiency
    • Identify systemic execution challenges and propose sustainable, scalable solutions
  • Cost Oversight & Delivery Spend Governance
    • Track and analyze delivery overages, makegoods, and added value (AV) across campaigns and accounts
    • Collaborate with Finance and RevOps to align on delivery efficiency goals and reduce cost leakage
    • Monitor platform and vendor tool utilization against budgets, identify optimization opportunities
  • KPI Ownership & Global Reporting
    • Own and maintain global dashboards for campaign pacing, SLA adherence, QA error rates, and launch velocity
    • Align inputs from North America Leads and EMEA leadership to ensure clean, consistent, and accurate reporting
    • Translate operational insights into strategic recommendations for executive stakeholders
  • Stakeholder Support & External Representation
    • Represent AdOps in high-value wrap calls, QBRs, and escalation post-mortems with Sales and AMs
    • Support the Sales team with pre-sale operational input during GTM planning and new business development
    • Operate as a senior AdOps point of contact in lieu of VP attendance, elevating the function’s external impact
  • Cross-Functional & Product Collaboration
    • Centralize and prioritize AdOps inputs to Product and Engineering to avoid fragmented asks
    • Support feature adoption and change management during workflow or platform updates
    • Act as a translator between technical systems and operational end-users

Skills You’ll Bring

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  • 6-8 years of experience in Digital Ad Operations, Programmatic Delivery, or Strategic Operations roles
  • Deep familiarity with digital media delivery mechanics, including trafficking, measurement, viewability, and campaign performance reporting
  • Proven experience owning cross-regional processes, scaling operational programs, and implementing workflow systems
  • Demonstrated fluency in delivery margin governance, overages, AV, and makegood mitigation
  • Experience supporting or overseeing programmatic campaign operations in both open exchange and PMP/private deal environments
  • Experience representing Ops in external client and sales conversations
  • Comfortable operating independently as a high-level IC within a global structure
  • Strong understanding of DSPs, SSPs, verification platforms (IAS, MOAT), ad servers, and reporting platforms (Looker, Tableau)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations

What We Offer

At GumGum, competitive base pay is a part of a total rewards package which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness. The reasonable estimated base pay and total compensation range for this role is from $ 140,000 - $165,000 annually.  The actual amount may be higher or lower. Individual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, work location, and labor market conditions.
