We started in 2008 in Santa Monica, California, as a contextual-first technology company that uses AI to improve digital advertising. We operate in over 19 markets globally, with 12 offices across North America, Asia, Australia, and Europe.

Some milestones include opening international offices in London (2015) and Tokyo (2017), launching our contextual intelligence API (2020), and receiving IAB UK’s Gold Standard 2.0 Certification (2020). We raised $75 million from Goldman Sachs in 2021 and acquired Amsterdam-based JustPremium and Australian-based Playground XYZ the same year. In 2023, we became the first Ad Tech provider to receive content-level accreditation from the MRC for contextual analysis, brand safety, and suitability for CTV.
