Freelance Audio Visual QC Linguist
Wordbank LLC is currently seeking Freelance Audio Visual QC Linguists to join our Freelance Resource Network. As a Freelance Audio Visual QC Linguist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our client’s audio and visual content.
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and proofreading movie trailer assets to ensure they meet a high standard of quality and accuracy. You will work closely with our team to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies in the content.
Key Responsibilities:
Check localized assets for completeness, accuracy, and fluency
Report linguistic errors
Check assets for technical compliance to client specifications
Check assets against brand guidelines
Requirements:
Fluency in English and native fluency in at least one of our needed languages
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - These projects often have very tight deadlines and sometimes require weekend work.
Prior experience in audio visual quality control is a plus

Requirements
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in the localization industry or a relevant degree and be native speakers of their target language.
Must be comfortable working with subtitling software and project management platforms such as Jira
Payment: We settle invoices through Wise or by bank transfer at the end of month following the month of the invoice.
