Job Description
Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g’day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you’re probably keen to find out what’s on offer, so we’ll get straight to the point.
Where and how you can work
Our flagship campus is in Sydney, Australia but we engage our Contractors and Freelancers all over the world to help us meet our crazy big goals. As a Contract or Freelancer at Canva you can work remotely in the country listed on this job ad, meaning you have ultimate flexibility. Wherever works for you, works for us.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that’s all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you’ll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Growth Marketing Strategy: You’ll lead the development, prioritization, and execution of go-to-market strategies to scale Canva Enterprise within high-potential verticals. This includes close collaboration with the B2B Verticals Lead, Product Marketing, Sales, Content, and Product teams.
- Tactical Execution: You’ll bring strategy to life by translating it into clear, actionable briefs — working with cross-functional leads across performance marketing, lifecycle, web, events, and more to launch impactful campaigns.
- Experimentation & Flywheels: You’ll design and run growth experiments to test new ideas, while identifying opportunities to build scalable marketing flywheels that drive acquisition, expansion, and engagement.
- Operational Excellence: You’ll help establish the right creative cadences, workflows, and resourcing needed to move fast and double down on what works.
- Measurement & Insights: You’ll define what success looks like — partnering with Data and Marketing Ops to build and iterate on dashboards, using insights to continuously optimize your approach.
- Playbook Development: You’ll codify what you learn into repeatable frameworks that guide how Canva scales vertical marketing across multiple industries.
You’re probably a match if
- You have experience in growth strategy or growth marketing roles, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
- You’ve owned go-to-market strategies for specific customer segments, ICPs, or verticals — and have a track record of delivering measurable impact.
- You understand a wide range of marketing levers and channels — from performance and lifecycle marketing to web and content — and know how they work together to drive scalable growth.
- You bring a sharp analytical mindset and feel confident diving into data, interpreting trends, understanding statistical significance, and collaborating with analysts to turn insights into action.
- You’re comfortable engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, and are skilled at influencing through collaboration and strategic communication.
- You think in systems, take ownership, stay persistent in the face of ambiguity, and sweat the details that drive results.
