We provide the Graph Intelligence Platform to help convert data into usable knowledge. Our platform supports AI systems and intelligent applications, enabling faster, more confident decision-making. Our offerings include the Graph Database & Analytics, which connects data as it’s stored and handles complex queries at scale. Our main products and services are AuraDB, AuraDB Enterprise, AuraDB Free, AuraDS (Graph Data Science as a Service), Desktop, Bloom, and The Graph Data Science Library.

We focus on Graph Database, NoSQL Database, Native Graph Technology, Graph Platform, Graph Analytics, and Knowledge Graphs. Our technologies include Cypher, graph visualization, Graph Algorithms, GenAI, graph data science, vector search, GraphRAG, and context graphs. We apply these in areas like fraud detection, data lineage, real-time recommendations, impact analysis for network and IT operations, real-time routing for logistics, master data management, identity and access management, content management, and portfolio and risk management. Companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises use our technology.

We were founded in 2007 in Sweden, but our work began in 2000. Founders Emil Eifrem, Johan Svensson, and Peter Neubauer started building a prototype after encountering performance issues with relational database management systems (RDBMS). The first version was ready in 2002, and it was deployed in production ²⁴⁄₇ by 2003. In 2007, we open-sourced our first graph database. Version 1.0 was released in 2010, and we moved our headquarters to Silicon Valley in 2011. By 2015, we had over 2 million downloads. In 2017, we launched what was then the industry’s first Graph Platform. The Forrester Wave™ for Graph Data Platforms, Q4 2020, recognized us as a Leader, and we were named a Visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud Database Systems. In 2021, we scaled our technology to handle over a trillion relationships and raised $390M in Series F funding, one of the largest investments in database history.
