Are you an experienced Bankruptcy paralegal with a passion for detail and exceptional client service? Join Equivity, a leading provider of virtual legal support across the U.S., as a remote Bankruptcy paralegal!
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and file Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and related documents.
Prepare for and support hearings, including 341 Meetings of Creditors.
Communicate with clients, courts, and creditors to gather and manage case information.
Use tools like BestCase and Clio to maintain organized and accurate case files.
Maintain timely communication with clients between 9 AM – 6 PM (your local time).
About You:
Bachelor’s degree.
3+ years of recent Bankruptcy paralegal experience (Chapter 7 & 13 required; Chapter 11 a plus).
3+ years working remotely in a law firm or legal services environment.
Skilled in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and case management software (e.g., Clio).
Proficient with legal research platforms and bankruptcy software (e.g., BestCase).
Strong written/verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Quiet, dedicated workspace for client and team calls.
Experience in an additional area of law is preferred (e.g., litigation, family law, or probate).

Compensation: This is a W-2 employee position with a pay range of $25/hr – $29/hr, based on experience and qualifications.
