Join Equivity, a leading provider of specialized virtual assistance services in the US, as a Virtual Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal. In this role, you will provide high-level legal support in both estate planning and probate matters while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in probate and estate planning matters.

  • Draft estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and documents for probate matters.

  • Prepare asset lists, inventories, and accountings in probate cases.

  • Manage case files, assist with trial preparation, and coordinate with clients, court personnel, creditors, and financial professionals.

  • Respond to client communications within one hour (9 AM – 6 PM).

  • Review wills and trusts, assist with guardianship applications, and prepare related pleadings.

About You:

  • 3+ years of recent paralegal experience in estate planning and/or probate law.

  • Experience with estate planning software (e.g., ForeTrust, WealthCounsel) and probate practice management tools (e.g., Clio, MyCase).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and editing PDFs.

  • Tech-savvy with video conferencing experience and access to a Windows laptop and smartphone with broadband internet.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a remote work environment.

  • Availability to respond to requests within one hour, 9 AM - 6 PM, Monday – Friday.
