Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle management to join our Product Management team. In this fully remote role, you will analyze, interpret, and report on day-to-day product performance and trends over time. You will influence tactical and strategic decision-making by providing critical insights to our product management, customer support and account management teams aimed at optimizing product performance and customer experience. Your reporting will be instrumental in correlating product performance to customer value realization.

The ideal candidate has experience with the revenue cycle at hospital systems and familiarity with relevant processes and data sets (encounter data, 835837, 276277, etc). This role involves leveraging data analytics, business intelligence tools, and industry knowledge to enhance reporting capabilities and drive actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain product performance reports and dashboards using business intelligence (BI) tools such as Amazon QuickSight, SQL, or other reporting platforms.

  • Design and implement data visualizations to effectively communicate trends and insights to stakeholders.

  • Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis and data-driven decision-making.

  • Provide recommendations to improve product performance to enhance customer value realization.

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Train end-users on BI tools and data interpretation to enhance data-driven decision-making across departments.

  • Analyze large datasets related to healthcare claims processing, denials management, and other revenue cycle functions.

  • Prepare presentations and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in a healthcare business analyst role required.

  • General familiarity with revenue cycle management (RCM), Practice Management, and EHR systems is preferred. Experience with Epic preferred.

  • Expertise in using data analysis tools to identify and quantify issues. Advanced Excel skills and intermediate SQL skills required.

  • Hands on experience in creating data visualizations in Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools preferred.

  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.

  • Ability to innovate in a fast-growing work environment and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

  • Highly motivated self-starter who is an excellent team player.

  • Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) skills.

  • Must be located in the United States, no sponsorship available at this time.

Travel Requirements

This role does occasional require domestic travel.  These travel expectations will be communicated by the department manager or executive. Janus is committed to providing as much flexibility and advanced notice as possible related to scheduling travel.

Physical Demands

This job operated in a professional remote or in-office environment. This job uses standard office equipment. This job is largely a sedentary role; however, the employee has the flexibility to move as needed. Constantly operates a computer, phone, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. The employee frequently communicates with internal and/or external people. Must be able to exchange accurate information in a timely manner. Must be able to recognize objects from short and long distances.
