THE ROLE 👩🏾‍💻

The City (Operations) Manager is a brand new role at AirGarage. The candidate who takes this role will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of our parking facilities in the Salt Lake City area, ensuring we deliver a world-class parking experience for drivers and provide strong local support to our property owners in the area.

Salt Lake City is a fast growing market for AirGarage where we have multiple locations with complicated operational nuances - your job will be to figure those out so we can provide a seamless parking experience for tenants, public parkers, retail guests, and event-driven traffic (particularly during events at the nearby Stadium/Arenas).

This role requires flexibility, strong leadership, and excellent problem-solving skills to manage variable schedules and high-pressure event days. The position is 40 hours per week, with hours fluctuating based on the event schedules of local stadiums/arenas and operational needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 👷‍♀️

  • Manage all aspects of parking facility operations, including event staffing, day to day maintenance, and customer service.

  • Coordinate and execute parking operations during nearby events, managing high-volume traffic, directing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff, including attendants, parking enforcement, and maintenance personnel.

  • Address tenant, public, and retail guest inquiries or complaints promptly while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

  • Oversee routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of the parking facilities. Coordinating with maintenance staff and third party vendors as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

  • Adapt to a variable 40-hour workweek. Hours will adjust frequently based on Stadium/Arena events.

WHO YOU ARE 🦚

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field (preferred but not required).

  • 3+ years of experience in parking management, facility operations, or a related field (preferred but not required).

  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in high-pressure environments.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with tenants, guests, and staff.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours during local Stadium/Arena events.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 💪

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the parking facilities for extended periods.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds (e.g., signage or camera equipment).

  • Comfort working in various weather conditions, as some duties may be outdoors.
