Job Requirements:
MATRIX is looking for an experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to join the team. This position is for remote camps across Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures health and safety by following company policies & processes and acting in a responsible manner at all times, while on the job.
- Performs all pre and post trip inspections to ensure effective operation of truck and equipment.
- Loading, unloading, and fasten materials safety and securely.
- Performs roadside repairs as needed.
- Complete all required safety paperwork.
- General laborer duties as required.
Required Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years truck driving experience
- Previous remote location experience, preferred
- Must be willing to travel for work
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Physical ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 lbs., Walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor.
- Able to maintain a high level of performance over a 12 hour shift.
Preferred Licensing & Certifications:
- Minimum Class 1 License
- Must have a clean five (5) year commercial drivers abstract
- Valid Safety Tickets (First Aid/CPR, TDG, Fall Protection)
Salary Range
$500/day depending on skills and experience.
