Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented and process savvy Compliance Specialist / Expert to support the day-to-day operations of Precision Medicine Group global corporate compliance program.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a regulated environment and is passionate about building scalable, auditable, and effective compliance processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage training, communications, policy governance, third-party due diligence, and compliance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Training Program
- Maintain and update the compliance training matrix.
- Ensure timely deployment of compliance trainings via Precision learning platforms.
- Record and track face-to-face (F2F) training sessions.
- Generate and review training completion reports; communicate results to stakeholders.
- Explore and potentially implement AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Synthesia) for training content development.
Compliance Communications
- Draft and manage compliance-related communications, including email campaigns, posters, and awareness initiatives.
- Support the development of annual and ad-hoc compliance communication plans.
Compliance Process Execution
Implement and maintain corporate compliance processes and controls foreseen by the Corporate Compliance Program
In particular,
- review and adjudicate CoI disclosure forms. Ensure timely follow-up and documentation of outcomes.
- Review and adjudicate ABAC-related forms and requests.Monitor the effectiveness and practicality of the ABAC process.
Design and operationalize further corporate compliance processes ensuring timely and KPI driven execution
Policy Governance
- Manage policy lifecycle in Precision policy management system, including assignments and periodic reviews.
- Coordinate policy updates and ensure accessibility across the organization.
Third-Party Due Diligence and Trade Compliance
- Operationalize and maintain Precision Trade Compliance Process by ensuring timely periodic, and ad hoc third party sanctions checks
- Become power user of Precision sanction screening and third party due diligence tools (Visual Compliance) ensuring they are used to full potential
- Conduct ad hoc third party checks and sanctions screening as well as oversee jurisdiction specific processes for TPDD and sanctions checks.
- Escalate flagged results to the Head of Compliance.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up—this is a key focus area.
Compliance Mailbox and Surveys
Monitor and triage the compliance mailbox.
Respond to inquiries or escalate to appropriate stakeholders.
Review and respond to incoming compliance surveys from clients.
Develop and maintain a database of survey responses for future reference.
Records & Documentation
- Organize and maintain the Compliance Teams database.
- Ensure audit readiness of compliance documentation, including risk assessments, investigations, and training records.
- Develop dashboards, matrix or reporting solutions to support Compliance operations visibility to Leadership.
Compliance Project Management (PMO)
- Act as compliance process PMO supporting project planning, execution, and reporting.
- Track compliance initiatives using Smartsheet or similar tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Management, Risk Management or role related field.
- 4+ years of experience in compliance, legal or regulatory operations within an international / global role – experience in biotech, healthcare, or life sciences will be a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Abilit to work with spreadsheets, trackers and dashboards as well as compliance tools and platforms (e.g., Visual Compliance).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI tools for training or communication is a plus.
- Understanding of global compliance process frameworks (e.g., ABAC, CoI, TPDD).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
