Job description
We’re hiring Construction Admin Architect to join our team!
The Construction Administration Architect (CAA) shall support construction administration for tenant improvement (TI) projects. This role will primarily focus on reviewing and processing submittals, RFIs, and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure the project is built in alignment with design intent and client standards.
Jon Responsibilities:
Review and process submittals and shop drawings for architectural compliance
Respond to RFIs in coordination with the project team
Maintain accurate records of CA documentation (logs, responses, approvals)
Attend regular OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings as needed
Coordinate with consultants and internal staff on CA-related issues
Assist with in-office employees with punch walks, site visits, and observation reports when required
Ensure TI projects meet code and client requirements during the construction phase
Contributes to all phases of design, assisting development of design through the life of a project, including design focused renderings and/or technical drawings
File all necessary documentation for CA phase
Provide weekly report as to items completed and pending
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
Registered Architect
6+ years of experience in architecture, with at least 4 years in construction administration preferred
Familiarity with tenant improvement projects and commercial interiors
LEED accreditation a plus
Proficient in reviewing submittals, shop drawings, and understanding construction documents
Strong communication and organizational skills
Able to handle several projects at the same time and meet deadlines without prompting from others.
Working knowledge of Revit, Bluebeam, and project management software
Experience with Procore or similar Construction Management Software
Amenable to work during U.S. business working hours
