Job description
Tigera provides Calico, a unified network security and observability platform to prevent, detect and mitigate security breaches in Kubernetes clusters. Tigera’s open-source offering, Calico Open Source, is the most widely adopted container networking and security solution.
Powering more than 100M containers across 8M+ nodes in 166 countries, Calico software is supported across all major cloud providers and Kubernetes distributions, and is used by leading companies including Discover, Chipotle, NBCUniversal, HanseMerkur, Box, Siemens Healthineers, Playtech, Royal Bank of Canada, and Bell Canada.
As our team grows, we are looking for colleagues who not only share our passion for this work and growing our company, but who will also strengthen our company values and help ensure that Tigera remains a great place to work. At our core, our focus is on our customers, who are the heroes of our story; on aiming high and staying nimble in how we get there; on continuous learning to drive our success; and on respecting, collaborating, and supporting each other on a daily basis.
If you are looking to help make a substantial impact, and our values and products align with your vision of your career growth, we want to hear from you!
YOUR ROLE
In your role as a Solutions Architect, you will engage with our customers and users to help them design and architect networking and network security for their cloud-native platform and workloads. You will provide thought leadership, guide customers and partners towards implementation of best practices, and provide ongoing technical guidance and consulting. This role will be hybrid based out of Vancouver or remote from Toronto with regular meet ups.
Salary range: CA$125-150,000 OTE
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead the technical engagement with our customers, with the support of the rest of the Tigera team. You will be instrumental in ensuring the success of both the customer and Tigera in each and every new deployment.
- Assist customers with the architecture of their Kubernetes implementation of the Tigera solution, helping them to define, protect, and monitor ingress, egress, and east-west traffic.
- Help in integrating the Tigera Solution into the customer’s infrastructure (authentication, logging, alerting, monitoring).
- Collaborate with customers to define security best practices and design/implement workflows.
- Help customers resolve technical issues while meeting key support SLAs
- Identify barriers to adoption and customer friction points and work with Product Management to create a product roadmap that aligns with the needs of our customers.
- Provide customers with consulting services utilizing your expertise in Networking, Security and Kubernetes
- Become a trusted resource and advocate for your customers. Someone who the customer relies on to give the right answer, not necessarily the most commercially rewarding answer.
