About Muck Rack
We provide AI-powered PR software for brands and agencies, integrating media databases, monitoring, and reporting tools. Our platform supports the entire public relations process, from pitching and media outreach to news tracking and campaign reporting. We help nearly 6,000 companies worldwide analyze and report on their media relations.
We also offer free tools for tens of thousands of journalists to create portfolios, analyze news, and measure their story impact. Our software’s main features include finding relevant journalists and content creators across digital, broadcast, print, podcasts, newsletters, and social media. It also automatically monitors the media for press mentions and brand-related news, helps target and personalize pitches with engagement tracking, and generates reports on coverage and campaign impact.
We started in 2009 with the goal of connecting journalists on social media. In 2011, we launched the Muck Rack software platform, which included journalist profiles and a media database.
We offer free resources such as Muck Rack Daily, a journalism digest; our blog; Muck Rack Academy for media credentials; and Muck Rack for Educators. We operate in the software development industry.
