Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in designing and building scalable data pipelines and processing frameworks. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in SQL, Python, cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery, and orchestration tools such as Airflow. Experience with AWS services is essential, and familiarity with Talend is a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties
Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python, SQL, and Airflow.
Work with Snowflake or BigQuery to build scalable data models and ensure high-performance querying and data transformation.
Integrate and manage data across various AWS services, ensuring data quality, security, and reliability.
Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and build data solutions that support business needs.
Develop automated workflows and ensure monitoring, logging, and alerting for data pipelines.
Optimize data systems and processes for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Support data governance, data quality initiatives, and compliance efforts.
Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Advanced proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and transformation.
Strong programming skills in Python for building ETL/ELT pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake or BigQuery.
Experience working with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Redshift, Glue, or RDS.
Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of data architecture and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
