Your Mission
As our UK Director, you will build and lead Riverflex’s UK practice. You will originate and land new business, grow and mentor a high‑performing team, cultivate our entrepreneurial culture, and pioneer new ways of consulting powered by AI.
What You’ll Do
· Own UK revenue growth. Leverage your network to originate and close significant consulting engagements across Strategy & Transformation, Data & Intelligence and, where relevant, Technology Risk. Develop a robust sales pipeline, craft compelling proposals and represent Riverflex to C‑suite executives.
· Build and lead a high calibre team. Attract, hire and develop a team of 510 consultants in the first year. Set high professional standards, provide coaching and feedback, and foster a culture of authenticity, continuous learning and excellence.
· Deliver intelligent transformation for clients. Oversee engagements that blend strategy, design, data, AI and change management. Use the resources and case studies from our European practice and Riverflex’s AI catalysts (RiverLab training, RiverHack hackathons, Rflex engines) to accelerate impact.
· Shape our culture and brand. Model our values—courage, agency, authenticity and a growth mindset. Create an environment where people feel empowered to experiment, learn and take ownership. Build lasting relationships with clients based on trust and impact.
· Lead innovation and thought leadership. Champion the full‑stack AI consulting vision. Explore how emerging AI technologies (LLMs, agents, computer vision, ML Ops) can transform consulting delivery and client operations. Develop new service offerings, prototypes and market narratives that differentiate Riverflex.
· Collaborate across Riverflex. Work closely with our Dutch leadership and global teams to shape strategy, share capabilities and scale best practices. Contribute to Riverflex’s intellectual property, marketing and product roadmaps.
Who You Are
· Seasoned consulting leader. 10+ years of experience in management consulting and/or digital transformation, ideally at a top‑tier firm. Proven track record of closing and delivering multi‑million‑euro engagements.
· Commercially savvy network builder. Deep relationships within the UK market and the ability to unlock doors at major enterprises. Confident and credible when engaging with board‑level stakeholders.
· AI innovator. Passionate about AI and technology trends and improving business outcomes through the application of modern methods and concepts such as fullstack AI, digital, cloud and agile.
· Builder and coach. Demonstrated ability to hire, motivate and develop teams. Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to design solutions and serve as a thought partner to your consultants.
· Entrepreneurial and courageous. Thrives in an agile, high‑growth environment. Willing to challenge the status quo, test new consulting models and take ownership for results.
· Domain expertise. Strong background in at least one of our core domains—AI strategy & transformation, data & analytics, digital transformation, or technology risk/cybersecurity. Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM) are welcome but not required.
· Trusted communicator. Excellent storytelling, proposal writing and presentation skills; able to distil complex concepts into clear narratives.
