As the strategic and inspirational leader of our Cloud Engineering team, you’ll shape the technical roadmap while driving outcomes through people - cultivating a culture of ownership, collaboration, and operational excellence. This role blends visionary architectural leadership with a deep understanding of how to empower teams and deliver results. With 10+ years in Azure-based infrastructure and 5+ years in progressive leadership roles, you bring a proven track record of building resilient, scalable cloud environments and leading high-performing global teams. Spend your days:

  • Providing leadership, vision, and direction to a global Cloud Engineering team, fostering a high-performance and results-driven culture
  • Defining and evolving enterprise-grade cloud architecture and application hosting strategies within Microsoft Azure
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Operations to ensure alignment with best practices and delivery goals
  • Establishing and enforcing standards, policies, and priorities that drive operational excellence and support business objectives
  • Managing cloud infrastructure costs through proactive forecasting, usage optimization, and vendor alignment
  • Advancing system resilience by minimizing outages, strengthening controls, and resolving complex infrastructure issues
  • Ensuring adherence to security and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, HITECH, NIST, and CIS
  • Leading the development of KPIs, OKRs, and business continuity plans to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable service delivery
  • Pitching in wherever you can to support the team as we scale!

Qualifications

Show us your:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering and 10+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure and cloud-based Windows Server environments with expertise in Azure
  • At least 5 years of experience in progressive leadership roles with proven ability to develop talent, lead through others, and drive team performance
  • Experience in Healthcare IT, including HIPAA/HITECH compliance requirements, preferred
  • Microsoft Certifications in Azure Solutions Architecture, Azure Administration, or Azure Kubernetes will catch our attention
  • Proven success guiding engineers to build high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code in a highly regulated environment
  • Strong technical background with deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and automation tools like GitHub, PowerShell, and Python
  • Executive presence with strong presentations and communication skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker – you can see the big picture while focusing teams on execution and delivery
  • Outcome-focused, results-oriented mindset – decisive leader —you see challenges as opportunities and approach work with optimism
