THE ROLE

Pangaea is hiring an E-commerce Manager to join the Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter focused on improving the on site experience and merchandising for Pangaea’s two brands. This person will have an analytical yet creative approach to driving e-commerce strategies and contributing to the growth of our overall business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Optimize website performance, focusing on customer journey, merchandising and improving overall site metrics
  2. Help define onsite strategy to convey the most relevant selling features and product benefits.
  3. Coordinate with engineering and senior marketing teams around new feature and page prioritization.   Develop and manage the visual merchandising strategy for all PDPs, PLPs, and landing pages.
  4. Work with engineering and technical teams to design A/B tests to validate marketing and sales hypotheses.
  5. Oversee site UX, customer journey and merchandising strategy.  pages including PDP, PLP, homepage & landing pages.
  6. Comfortable analyzing page site metrics and providing strong insight into customer behavior. Brief company leaders and design strategies based on these metrics.
  7. Collaborate and manage relationships with SEO agencies to maintain and execute site updates for optimal search engine optimization
  8. Partner with various internal departments such as Creative, Operations, Growth and Customer Support to optimize the entire customer’s journey and align with all stakeholders.
  9. Present website roadmap and ongoing results to company leaders

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a DTC focused brand.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to think innovatively, move quickly on new opportunities and embrace a start-up mentality
  • Experience with and passion for the health, beauty, wellness and/or personal care space
  • Experience with subscription or retention focused business

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The reasonably estimated annual base salary for this role ranges from $90,000 - $100,000 and will include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and location. Details of participation in benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

  • Health insurance: Pangaea offers medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. Out of three amazing medical plans, we cover 100% for the first plan for employees and 90% of the monthly premium for two higher coverage plans. We also provide 75% of the monthly premium for family coverage.
  • 401(k) matching: After a 3-month waiting period, Pangaea will match up to 4% of the employee’s elected contribution to their retirement plan.
  • Time off: Pangaea recognizes 14 paid holidays per year. We also have 6 additional “Pangaea Fridays” throughout the year where employees can get a head start on their weekend and take the whole day off. Lastly, we have a flexible time off policy and trust our employees to take vacation when they need it!
  • Staff discount: All staff members are given $100 of credit per month to use on Pangaea products so that they can try, own (and love!) all the products we sell.
