Job Title: Technical Lead – eCommerce (Client-Facing | Offshore Coordination | Full Stack)

Overview:
We’re seeking a client-savvy Technical Lead who thrives at the intersection of technology, project execution, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will excel in client communication, requirement gathering, and managing offshore delivery teams, with a solid grasp of Agile delivery models and hands-on familiarity with JavaScript-based technologies.
You will play a crucial role as a bridge between the customer’s business and technical teams and your own engineering team. This is not a pure architect role—this is a people-first, process-driven leader role with a technical edge.
Key Responsibilities:
💬 Client Management & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer-side stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations, track deliverables, and provide consistent updates.
- Conduct requirement gathering, solution walkthroughs, and demos with both technical and business users.
- Translate business needs into actionable tasks and ensure technical feasibility.
🔁 Onsite-Offshore Coordination
- Work closely with the offshore development team to ensure clarity of requirements, context, and priorities.
- Spend time mentoring and guiding offshore teams in daily syncs, walkthroughs, and sprint planning.
- Help troubleshoot blockers, ensure timely delivery, and maintain team alignment with customer goals.
📋 Project Execution & Agile Delivery
- Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and task allocation.
- Track project project progress, identify risks early, and drive resolution.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of milestones in coordination with both teams.
💻 Hands-On Technical Involvement
- Support the team technically when needed—especially with JavaScript-based stacks like Node.js, Vue.js, Alokai.
- Participate in code reviews, technical troubleshooting, or proof of concepts when required.
- Understand technical implications of client needs and guide the team accordingly.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years in full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- At least 3 end to end Ecommerce projects involving Order Management, Supplier Management (Drop shipping) , PIM / DAM modules.
- Strong client-facing experience—must have led or managed customer communication directly.
- Experience working as an onsite-offshore coordinator or in distributed team environments.
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies, sprint management, and requirement gathering.
- Experience in writing clear and concise epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams and translate business needs into actionable development tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and workflows.
- Hands-on knowledge of Medusa.js, Alokai (Vue Storefront), or other headless commerce frameworks.
- Exposure to CI/CD, testing, or DevOps.
