We are looking for a highly experienced Teamcenter Architect/Lead Developer who wants to bring Teamcenter into the modern IT age. Our project is deploying Teamcenter within the AWS Gov Cloud utilizing the DevSecOps framework. All Teamcenter architecture and development must be tailored to work within the DevSecOps framework and leverage automation wherever possible to facilitate delivering into the AWS Gov cloud. As an Enterprise Architect/Developer VI with a focus on Siemens Teamcenter, you will serve as a senior technical leader and recognized authority in enterprise PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) architecture and development. You will be responsible for architecting and developing advanced Teamcenter-based solutions that support product data management, digital thread enablement, and enterprise-wide interoperability across engineering, manufacturing, and business systems.

This role requires deep expertise in Teamcenter capabilities including BMIDE configuration, Active Workspace customization, and enterprise system integrations (e.g., ERP, MES, CAD). You will define enterprise architecture standards, lead strategic planning initiatives, and ensure that Teamcenter implementations align with data governance policies, business transformation goals, and the complete digital lifecycle. You will also support business development through technical briefings, architectural roadmaps, and customer engagements.

The proposed salary range for this position is $150,510-$196,000.There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design, governance, and evolution of enterprise-wide PLM architectures with Siemens Teamcenter at the core
  • Architect scalable and secure Teamcenter solutions that support multi-site, multilingual, and multi-domain deployments
  • Define and implement Teamcenter information models, classification schemas, workflows, and change management structures using BMIDE and Active Workspace
  • Integrate Teamcenter with external systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MES, CAD tools like NX or CATIA) using SOA, ITK, T4x, and/or Teamcenter Gateway
  • Establish metadata strategies, master data alignment, and taxonomy structures within the Teamcenter ecosystem
  • Guide configuration and customization efforts to align with enterprise-wide data governance, compliance, and traceability requirements
  • Develop Teamcenter deployment strategies that support historical data lineage, product baselining, variant management, and digital thread continuity
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, business analysts, and engineering leaders to map Teamcenter capabilities to business outcomes
  • Champion best practices in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and product lifecycle traceability through Teamcenter integrations
  • Provide strategic consultation on cloud-readiness and containerized deployment models for Teamcenter (e.g., via AWS, Azure)
  • Lead technical efforts for new business proposals, including architecture visioning, capability demonstrations, and white papers
  • Deliver documentation and architectural artifacts including data models, interface specifications, and solution blueprints
  • Maintain alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and support Agile/DevSecOps delivery models
  • Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded
  • Identify and forward to your leadership any opportunities that could lead to growth within your work area
  • Participate in growth efforts as requested
  • Ensure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer’s satisfaction
  • Completes personal PDP and attend Staff Meeting and Storytime (with camera on)
  • Within your program, build productive and positive professional relationships with clients
  • Execute all contract requirements as assigned in accordance with the contract specific LCAT and requirements
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 12–15 years of experience or Master’s degree with 10–13 years of experience in enterprise architecture or PLM implementation.

  • Active DoD Directive 8570 IAT I or II certification (Security+ or equivalent)

  • Proven track record architecting and developing complex Teamcenter solutions across large, multi-stakeholder organizations

  • Demonstrated experience with BMIDE, Active Workspace configuration, and PLM process modeling

  • Expertise in Teamcenter core modules (e.g., Structure Manager, Workflow Designer, Change Management, Product Configurator)

  • Strong experience with Teamcenter integrations to 3D CAD platforms, ERP, and MES, including interface architecture and data synchronization

  • Deep understanding of enterprise information models, PLM data lifecycles, and digital thread concepts

  • Knowledgeable on principles, and implementation of IT automation and orchestration in a Teamcenter implementation

  • Successful leadership of strategic architecture initiatives aligned with engineering and digital transformation roadmaps

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification in TOGAF, Zachman, or similar EA frameworks
  • Experience deploying or migrating Teamcenter in cloud or hybrid environments
  • Familiarity with data lake architectures, digital twin frameworks, and event-driven integrations with PLM systems
  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter-related tools such as TcIC, T4x, or Polarion ALM
  • Advanced proficiency with modeling languages and tools (e.g., UML, ER, SysML) and PLM data governance principles
  • Experience with USAF programs and ways of working
  • Experience with IT automation tools such as Python, Ansible etc.
  • Expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) strategies and integration with enterprise information systems
