With Cloud at its core, the Platform Engineering area supports our product development life cycle, from development through testing and deployment to operations and maintenance, enabling a DevOps way of working integrated with FinOps principles for cost optimization and efficiency. You:

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and data-savvy FinOps Analyst to join our FinOps team. You’ll work directly inside the Platform Engineering organization to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and clarity of our cloud cost and usage data across multiple platforms. Your role will be instrumental in building scalable, automated systems and providing data-driven insights that help our engineering and leadership teams make financially informed decisions.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their FinOps or Cloud journey who wants hands-on experience in a fast-moving environment, gain deep exposure to cost optimization strategies, and actively shape the future of our cloud cost data infrastructure.

Your Day to Day:

  • Validate cloud cost and usage data accuracy and completeness.
  • Map cloud costs to business units, teams, and projects.
  • Support cloud provider credit program tracking and execution.
  • Monitor budgets and flag anomalies or savings potential.
  • Identify cost optimization and resource efficiency opportunities.
  • Automate financial reporting using SQL and scripts.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining FinOps dashboards.
  • Help prepare cost reports for engineering and leadership.
  • Communicate cost optimization to engineering and team leads.
  • Support embedding cost-awareness in engineering workflows.
  • Explore scripting and AI for FinOps task streamlining.

You Have & You Know-How:

  • 1 year experience in FinOps, similar role, or as an analyst in software development.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (especially AWS) and billing.
  • Collaborative and proactive mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to write or adapt scripts (SQL, Python, etc.).
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience working with Generative AI (GenAI) tools is a plus.

Preferred/Valued Qualifications and Skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud cost management  (e.g., GCP Billing, AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, Cloudability)
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Basic understanding of FinOps principles. (e.g., FinOps Foundation)
  • Interest in automation and AI.
