The QA Architect role at 3Pillar Global is crafted for a visionary leader who combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking to architect comprehensive quality assurance frameworks. You will be instrumental in advancing our QA methodologies, integrating cutting-edge technologies, and fostering a culture of quality that permeates every project. Your leadership will shape the future of quality assurance at 3Pillar, making an indelible impact on our products and the industries we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic QA Framework Design: Architect and refine the overarching quality assurance strategies, aligning them with the organization’s long-term goals and technological advancements. Lead the formulation and implementation of QA policies and frameworks that set new standards of excellence.
- Advanced Technical Leadership: Spearhead the development and integration of advanced QA technologies and methodologies. Address the most complex technical challenges, becoming a beacon for innovation and excellence within 3Pillar and beyond.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships with development, product management, and operations teams. Your strategic insights will ensure QA is seamlessly integrated throughout the product development lifecycle, enhancing collaboration and product innovation.
- Resource Management and Team Development: Oversee the allocation and management of QA resources, ensuring optimal deployment on projects. Mentor and develop QA teams, sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Problem-Solving and Strategic Influence: Tackle uncommonly complex problems with strategic solutions that contribute to the organization’s success. Influence function-level strategy, guiding 3Pillar in navigating technical and quality assurance challenges.
- Knowledge Leadership: Maintain and expand your expertise in QA methodologies and emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning applications in testing. Lead by example, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth among team members.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in manual and automated quality assurance, with significant expertise in architecting QA strategies and frameworks for hardware-integrated software systems such as embedded systems, firmware, or consumer electronics
- Proven track record of leadership in QA, with extensive experience in managing diverse QA teams and fostering innovation.
- Expertise in advanced QA technologies and methodologies, with a strong emphasis on automation, performance, and scalability testing.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence strategic decisions at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a history of tackling complex technical challenges and driving continuous quality improvement.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills, capable of inspiring teams and promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and excellence.
Additional Experience Desired:
- Professional QA certifications (ISTQB, CSTE) or project management certifications (PMP, Agile/Scrum).
- Deep understanding of different embedded platforms and experience with testing using software and hardware simulators
- Strategic leadership and decision-making abilities, with a forward-looking approach to integrating emerging technologies into QA practices.
