Summary

Requirements
- Strong alignment with float’s mission to improve the financial health of individuals across America, preference for lived experience
- Proven experience as a full-stack engineer with proficiency in both front-end and back-end development
- Solid understanding of one or more front-end frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue) and one or more back-end frameworks (e.g. Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails)
- Expertise in database design and management (e.g. SQL, NoSQL)
- Proven experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines)
- Ability to make thoughtful architectural decisions and understand trade-offs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the founding team to understand product requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications
- Make informed architectural decisions to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Co-lead product direction and priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap of the company
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the fintech or financial services industry
- Experience with the credit data industry
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools
- Previous experience working at a startup
