Job Purpose
You will be responsible for analysing and interpreting our fraud and risk data to identify trends and patterns in player behaviour. The role will focus on providing data and insights to identify high-risk accounts, detect unusual activity, investigate, and subsequently close suspicious accounts to mitigate risk and protect the business from revenue losses.
Areas of Responsibility
- Identifying suspicious activity using fraud monitoring tools and other systems
- Reviewing and monitoring member account registrations, purchases, and redemption transactions
- Performing initial investigations and taking immediate corrective action to mitigate losses to the business
- Contributing to the development of new policies, processes, and systems to monitor and prevent fraud
- Generating suspicious activity reports and risk management reports for managers
- Identifying areas for process/system improvement and supporting the team in implementing changes
Requirements
Experience working with Seon or other fraud prevention tools, particularly with the definition and analysis of fraud detection rules within the platform.
Strong hands-on experience with Looker, or other BI reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Direct experience of the gaming industry is a plus.
Any experience in the US market is beneficial.
Good communication, organizational, teamwork, interpersonal skills and multi-cultural diversity are essential.
Experience of working on multiple projects at the same time.
Data-driven and detail-orientated with good analytical, problem-solving skills.
The ability to present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written and presentation formats.
A proven ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams in a highly dynamic industry.
