Summary
OKTO is looking for a Front End (Web) Engineer experienced in React, passionate for building amazing user interfaces to join our OKTO team in Athens while being responsible for developing web-based applications using cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
As a of FrontEnd (Web) Developer of Okto you will be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain front-end features using React + Typescript, ensuring optimal performance, scalability and security.
- Collaborate with the Product Management team to ensure feature technical feasibility and trade-offs between requirements and implementation.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional front-end components.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring that all components are working as expected.
- Keeping yourself updated with new technology, platforms, frameworks, tools, and methodology.
· University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
· 3+ years of working experience in designing and developing software.
· Strong experience with ReactJS and state management libraries (especially Redux/ Redux toolkit).
· Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 and their best practices.
· Have knowledge of Material UI or other React UI libraries.
· Experienced with REST APIs.
· Strong understanding of front-end build tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Vite).
· Experience in writing Unit tests (e.g. React Testing Library, Jest, Enzyme) and/or e2e tests (e.g. Cypress) will be considered a plus.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
