Job Description
Context & Team
Join Believe, one of the world’s leaders in digital music, where innovation and tech passion are part of everyday life.
Within Believe’s Platform Engineering department, you’ll be part of the QA Core team, which designs, develops, and maintains the internal platform called Quality as a Service (QaaS).
This platform brings together tools and services to help ensure the quality of the software developed at Believe.
Our mission: make software quality accessible and measurable, by simplifying tech teams’ daily workflows.
The bonus: you’ll work in a dynamic environment, shaped by music culture and Believe’s international diversity.
Your Role
As a work-study full stack developer, you’ll actively contribute to the development of the QaaS platform, working closely with the existing team (4 members).
You’ll be mentored by Florent, our Tech Lead, who will support your growth and technical progress.
During your work-study program, you’ll get to work on several key projects, including:
Improving and finalizing an internal dashboard that tracks code quality metrics (based on SonarQube). This dashboard is built with React.
Developing a realistic data management service, used for manual and automated testing. It’s a React web app paired with a Python (FastAPI) API.
Contributing to our automated testing services, built with Cypress, Pytest, and K6 (e2e, API, and performance testing).
Depending on your interests, you may take ownership of one of these topics — or a new one we identify together.
The team will support you step by step as you take on more responsibilities.
Your Profile
This role is for you if you’re curious, independent, and looking for a hands-on, meaningful, and technically challenging work-study experience.
You might recognize yourself in the following:
Technical skills: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React
Interest in software quality: you’re curious about testing, automation, and continuous code improvement
Team spirit: you enjoy collaborating, sharing, and contributing to collective success
Curiosity and eagerness to learn: you’re excited about discovering new technologies or topics
Proactivity: you’re not afraid to suggest ideas or dive into topics that interest you
Analytical mindset: you take a step back, ask questions when something’s unclear or could be improved, and try to understand the “why”
Communication skills: you know how to ask for help, share your progress, and explain your choices, both in writing and verbally
Why Join Us?
A supportive and experienced team, focused on knowledge sharing
An ideal environment for developing your skills: pair programming, code reviews, and mentoring
The chance to work at the heart of the music industry, contributing to projects that truly matter for Believe’s teams (and indirectly, for artists!)
A technically stimulating experience within a growing company
Want to learn, grow, and make a real impact through your work?
Come join us!
