Job Description
As a business partner supporting the tech & product departments, you are responsible for ensuring a global vision of the financial structuring of the project, by tracking costs for major transformation projects. This role includes defining initial overall business cases, monitoring costs and calculating profitability throughout the global projects and after implementation.
Responsibilities and daily tasks:
Business case: Being able to define & plan the financial contours of a business case, in partnership with business and finance. These strategic business cases must be understandable and accessible to non-financial people.
Project cost tracking: Develop processes, methodology and tools to monitor the costs and ROI of investment business cases. With an in-depth knowledge of his environment, be able to write analytical reviews to explain business cases activities. Challenge operational teams and support them through adhoc strategic analyses.
Datadriven: Be data-driven to industrialize and automate cost tracking by project. This requires a close relationship with data teams, and the ability to create and enhance dashboards.
More generally, the Project Cost Manager will develop an analytical posture and a culture of close collaboration with stakeholders. He or she will also be focused on continuous improvement and process automation.
Qualifications
You are datadriven first, committed, curious and rigorous in your work. You know how to work in a constantly evolving environment. You know how to build constructive and trusting relationships with your stakeholders.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate finance, demonstrating autonomy and in-depth expertise. Knowledge of macro-planning and project milestones. Ability to handle both costs and deadlines. Ideally with a background in financial auditing, such as the Big Four.
