We’re Sweed, a product-driven startup building an all-in-one cannabis retail platform. We’re on the lookout for a Head of Product Ecom to join our team remotely and help us scale and optimize our platform.

We’ve been on the market for 6 years, continuously growing and refining our product.
Our focus is on earning customer trust, which means constantly improving our delivery processes and rolling out new features. At the same time, we navigate the complex legal landscape of the cannabis industry, ensuring our platform remains compliant and future-proof.
Team Structure
Right now, our total team size is around 180 people:
The development team is distributed globally and organized into cross-functional product teams. These teams typically consist of 8–12 members, including front-end and back-end developers, QA specialists, and analysts.
Each team is led by a Team Lead and a Product Owner, ensuring effective collaboration and clear direction.
Meanwhile, our CEO, account managers, and customer success team are based in the USA, working closely with us to align product development with business and user needs.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager role.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lead PM/Group PM/CPO role.
Technical understanding of the product and the ability to communicate effectively with the development team.
Exceptional project management skills – comfortable managing multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and different stakeholders without losing focus.
Strong relationship-building abilities – collaborates easily with internal experts, engineers, and customers to keep everyone aligned on product goals.
Stakeholder-focused mindset – anticipates what people need, communicates early and often, and keeps teams on the same page.
Additionally, you excel in creating exceptional products and driving metrics growth.
Upper-Intermediate and higher level of English. You will need to communicate with the English-speaking part of the team, clients and write and read the documentation in English.
What You’ll Be Working On
Own and drive the e-commerce product vision – define a long-term strategy for our digital and in-store experiences (e.g., kiosks), ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
Lead and grow a team of Product Managers – provide clear direction, mentorship, and support; oversee hiring, performance, and team development.
Build and maintain a strategic product roadmap – shape and communicate a high-impact roadmap that connects cross-functional efforts and drives business growth.
Partner with leadership and stakeholders – work closely with the VP of Product, CEO and other executives to align on priorities, share insights, and guide decision-making.
Lead market, customer, and competitive research – generate actionable insights to inform product direction and ensure we stay ahead of market trends.
Oversee product discovery and prioritization – ensure feature decisions are grounded in customer value, business goals, and technical feasibility.
Drive cross-functional execution – coordinate across teams (product, design, engineering, ops) to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality outcomes.
