Human Capital Resources and Concepts Inc. (HCRC) is a consulting firm that specializes in resource management capabilities that are utilized in all federal organizations. Our consultants have in-depth training and work experience in Department of Defense and other federal entities which includes the Intelligence Community. We have subject matter experts in all source analysis, mission support services, and information technology. The ICF-PCC Certified Executive Coach will offer clients coaching, organizational development, and strategy support for company transformation initiatives. This entails examining the situation as it stands and making suggestions for improved organizational structures, projects, programs, and workflows. The Coach normally reports to a Program Manager but will work independently with little oversight. Strong consulting, analytical, and verbal, written, and visual communication abilities are required of the ideal candidate. The candidate must feel at ease interacting with stakeholders at all organizational levels and produce deliverables that have an impact.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Review, analyze, and interpret complex documents, including existing plans, policies, procedures, presentations, guidance documents, and internal and external memos
  • Assess the effectiveness of organizational structures, initiatives, programs, and processes
  • Document the existing capability (current state) for an organization and its associated programs
  • Document processes using process improvement methodologies (for example, Lean Six Sigma) to identify gaps and organizational inefficiencies
  • Design and facilitate workshops, focus groups, workgroups, and strategic planning sessions
  • Design and facilitate meetings and conferences, including handling logistics
  • Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, summaries, and After-Action Reports
  • Develop change management and stakeholder engagement strategies
  • Interview stakeholders to elicit requirements and to gain an in depth understanding of roles, responsibilities, staffing, budgets, authorities, and other elements that impact organizational and program performance
  • Develop narratives and visualizations using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other graphic and written formats to communicate results
  • Develop communication plans and internal and external communication products, including but not limited to emails, fact sheets, presentations, and reports to convey information and facilitate stakeholder and senior leadership buy-in
  • Perform 360 assessments
  • Provide executive coaching and team coaching
  • Deliver concrete feedback to coaches about behaviors, decisions, and team dynamics

Education:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • MA/MS degree in a related field preferred
  • Coaching certification is required (ICF PCC)

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal, consultative, analytical, strategic planning, and organizational skills
  • An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
  • Effective communication skills are absolutely required for this position
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus
  • An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image
  • A flexible individual who is able to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders and who is able to meet tight deadlines

  • An enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a coach and facilitator
  • Experience in working on government contracts in a consultative role
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint required
  • Executive-level coaching, consulting, or related experience
  • Experience with 360 and other psychometric assessments
  • Strong understanding of adult learning as well as behavioral, cognitive and social psychology
