Uptalent.io is seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to collaborate on product design and development for their global platform. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial Design, proficiency in 3D modeling software, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as an Industrial Designer
- Proficient in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Rhinoceros & AutoCAD
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Good communication skills and ability to present design concepts to stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new products, improve existing ones, and ensure they meet customer needs
- Conduct research and analysis to understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitors' products
- Create and present design concepts that meet customer requirements and are feasible to manufacture
- Develop 3D models and prototypes using CAD and other tools to test and validate designs
- Prepare detailed manufacturing specifications and work with suppliers to ensure designs can be produced efficiently
- Conduct testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure they meet design requirements and are of high quality
- Work closely with the production team to ensure products are produced according to design specifications and standards
